There are three main "ride modes" you can select in FulGaz. These are Steady, Reactive and Challenge. The mode can be changed from your settings menu.
STEADY: Steady mode always goes at the same speed the ride was filmed at. If the person filming the ride took five minutes to climb the hill, so will you. In this mode it does not matter how hard or easy you pedal, the video speed will remain constant at the original speed. This is great if you want to do a session or effort for a set amount of time. Simply choose a video where the original rider took the amount of time you wish to be riding for.
REACTIVE: This is the most most people will choose to use. In reactive mode the video will speed up and slow down depending on the amount of power you are producing and the on-screen gradients. This mode is just like in real life!
CHALLENGE: Challenge mode works the same way as reactive mode, but you can choose a “ghost” rider's effort to race against. This can be your previous effort or another FulGaz rider's effort. It’s by far the most addictive mode in FulGaz and a great way to make sure you finish a session and push yourself harder! The rider's time will appear along the bottom of your screen, also showing how far ahead or behind you are.
