Bluetooth works by pairing, so if your trainer is still paired to another app it won't show up as an active device on the FulGaz device connection screen. It’s therefore really important to make sure no other apps are connected to your trainer when you want to use FulGaz.
Typical examples that cause this problem
- Still connected to Zwift or another app
- Still connected to your trainer's utility app (EG Wahoo fitness app)
- Still paired to FulGaz on another device
- You've forgotten to turn your trainer on
Sometimes it won't be enough to just quit these other apps, you may need to disconnect your trainer in that app, then quit it. This also applies if you have connected to your trainer in FulGaz on another device.
An example of this would be you now want to use FulGaz on your Apple TV, but it can't connect. You need to un-check your trainer (or other device that is causing the problem) then quit FulGaz. your trainer will then instantly appear on the Apple TV list.
If you still can’t see your trainer or another device such as a cadence sensor, try the Wahoo Fitness app to make sure the device is still working, then quit that app to and try again.
