The power target is the most important target to hit, but getting the cadence correct in these sessions is important too.
If you're running out of gears to achieve this, you can adjust slope scaling. (If you've used Zwift, this is the same principal as "trainer Difficulty")
Go to Settings > Advanced Trainer Settings and Adjust slope scaling down to 80% as a starting point. This isn't cheating, it's just a way to allow you to pedal at the prescribed wattage and cadence on even the steepest slopes. It will not effect your speed in FulGaz.
UPDATE
You can now also adjust slope scaling during a ride
- iPhone, iPad, Windows, Android - Tap on the "settings" button during a ride
- Apple TV - Click on the remote trackpad
- KICKR BIKE - Press the button on the top of the right lever hood
