Everyone is on the same footing when it comes to settings during a competition in FulGaz.
In the App you need to input your own weight. However your bike’s weight is fixed, and your aerodynamic drag (CdA) is adjusted to model you on a state of the art aerodynamic road bike, in tight clothing suit and deep-dish aero wheels.
You can adjust your slope scaling if you find your gearing is not enough to get you up some hills, but nothing anyone adjusts will affect their speed in FulGaz.
In competition mode, no rider can change any setting within FulGaz which impacts performance within an event.
Several times per minute during every event we receive performance data to update the live race map. We have a number of data points that we capture along the way, including weight, wattage, heart rate, and cadence.
FulGaz also records the type of trainer being used, software version, and registered device. This gives us a detailed picture of every rider’s performance.
At the request of an event organiser or Commissaire, FulGaz will provide this data. However, commissaries shall be responsible for determining any infringements related to cycling esports, including infringements of any rulesets specified in any applicable competition guide.
