Welcome to the FulGaz World Series!
The FulGaz World Series has been designed to showcase some of the best rides FulGaz has to offer. It will be a fun but challenging event. Just like any multi-day cycling event, preparation is key to getting the best experience out of the World Series.
You'll want to be sure you are rested leading up to the start, and that your training equipment and FulGaz setup is dialled in before the start. Below you’ll find some useful tips, key information, ride dates, and solutions to common troubleshooting issues.
A quick pre-event checklist
- Ensure you are connected to the internet! FulGaz events require a good internet connection.
- Download the ride video in advance before starting a ride.
- Test your setup - make sure your trainer and connections are all working.
- When starting a ride, be sure to select the ride from within the ride channel.
- Plan your ride and rest days so you're fresh for the tough stages!
Finding the World Series rides
The ride collection will be visible along the top main menu in FulGaz. If the rides are not showing up in your app, please head to FulGaz settings, scroll down and tap UPDATE RIDE LIST, then restart FulGaz.
Before the start of the event, each ride will be counting down to the official start time. Once open, you can ride the stages at any time that suits you up until the closing date. It's recommended to ride each stage in order, as the stages have been planned in order by our team to give the best experience possible of riding a multi-stage event.

Completing the World Series
There are 12 stages in the World Series and you have until the 12th of December to complete each of these stages. Please ensure you have planned out your ride days so that you can complete the series within that time. While you do not need to ride the stages in order, it is recommended to do so.
Downloading ride videos beforehand
For this event, you MUST download the ride videos beforehand. This reduces the strain on your home network and reliance on broadband speeds. You do not need to download all the videos at the start (this would take up a lot of hard drive space). You can mange storage and downloads in Video Settings.
If you are low on space, we recommend downloading a few in advance, then deleting the file once you have ridden each stage. If you have an older-model iPad or lower-spec computer, consider downloading the rides in 720p resolution video (FulGaz settings -> video settings) to reduce the load on your device.
Riding the stages in order
It is highly recommended to ride each stage in order. However, you can mix and match stages to suit your schedule. Note that your position on the overall GC leaderboard will only update correctly once you have ridden stages in order.
Please do not re-ride any stages. If you ride a stage again, it will wipe the previous data.
World Series Leaderboards
Each stage has it's own leaderboard, a link is included in the "congratulations" email that is sent to you after each ride. There is also an overall GC leaderboard that is updated with your total time once you have ridden the stages in order.
If you find that your time has not updated or is missing, head to Settings -> Ride History in FulGaz, select the ride, then re-upload the data. This should push your time across again. If your time is still missing or incorrect, please contact support.
Trainers and sensor connections
If your smart trainer and/or sensors are not connecting to FulGaz, firstly please ensure they are not still connected to any other apps or devices (eg: Zwift, Wahoo Fitness, FulGaz on another device, Garmin cycling computer, iPhone, etc). Fully reboot both your trainer and device running FulGaz, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and try again. For Android devices, ensure Location Services is enabled. Some handy troubleshooting tips are included below:
Running out of gears? Adjust your Slope Scaling!
If you feel like you're running out of gears or the steeper climbs are too tough, you can adjust your Slope Scaling, either before a ride in the settings menu or at any time during the ride by tapping on the "cog" icon in the top right corner of the screen. It's important to note that this does not affect your overall speed in FulGaz, so this is not cheating.
If you are still having trouble with your FulGaz ride or setup, consult our Knowledge Base for more advice on resolving common issues first. If you cannot find a solution there, then please send us a support ticket. Include as much relevant information as you can and our team will do their best to help you.
