Want to share your FulGaz ride scenery with friends? Of course you do! FulGaz now gives you the option to take a screenshot during your ride! This image will be automatically uploaded to Strava with your ride data, and saved to your device's drive or photo album if you choose.
To take a screenshot, tap the "camera" icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. Your screenshot will include everything you see on screen, including the elevation profile and all the information displayed on your HUD or bike computer.
NOTE: The screenshot is not available on Android at this stage sorry.
Taking a Screenshot
At first you may be asked to allow permissions. On iOS this grants FulGaz screen recording permissions for roughly eight minutes. Permissions vary depending on platform and operating system.
At the completion of your ride, simply tap the UPLOAD RIDE button as usual and if your Strava account is connected to FulGaz, your screenshot will be automatically uploaded with your ride data!
Due to syncing permissions, FulGaz will only sync one screenshot to Strava. This will always be the last one that you take during your ride.
Screenshots on Apple TV: During your ride, tap the centre remote button to display the in-ride settings menu, then tap on the SCREENSHOT button.
Saving the Screenshot to your device
Currently the screenshots are not automatically saved to your device's drive. To save your screenshot, at the completion of your ride tap the SHARE SCREENSHOT button.
This will give you a few sharing options depending on the platform you are using. Select the "Save Image" option to save the image to your device's drive. You may also be able to email your screenshot or send it via messaging services.
NOTE: Your screenshot image will contain all the data displayed on your bike computer or HUD. This may include health related data that you have hidden from Strava uploads, such as your heart rate.
