The FulGaz Toughness Score is a formula that first accounts for the original rider's time, then totals the time spent at each gradient. While not perfect, it's a "rough guide" to how hard a ride may be, taking into account time and climb data!
As it takes longer to climb 10% slope than it does to ride down the other side, an undulating ride will still score highly if it has some steep or long climbs in it.
For reference, the ride with the lowest Toughness Score in FulGaz is the Onion Valley Ride Descent with a value of -41. The ride with the highest Toughness Score is the Death Ride with a Toughness Score of 2111.
