As there are so many different makes and models of elliptical bike on the market, it is impossible for our team to source and test them all with FulGaz. As a general rule of thumb, most will NOT broadcast standard power and cadence values over an open Bluetooth channel.
Most elliptical bikes will not be compatible with FulGaz.
To find out if your bike is compatible, make sure you have quit any other apps that can connect to your bike, load up FulGaz and see if your bike shows up in the list of "power" devices on the connections screen. If it does, you should be able to "tick" the connection and continue. A ride in FulGaz should then speed up and slow down according to your effort.
Alternatively, you can go to settings and put FulGaz in Steady mode. This will allow you to ride in front of FulGaz and enjoy the high quality videos, but the ride will not speed up and slow down with your effort.
The following models will likely not connect or communicate correctly with FulGaz:
- Computrainer
- Earlier Elite trainers, such as the MUIN and B+ models
- Some earlier models of Kinetic trainers
- Most BKOOL trainers and smart bikes
- Renpho AI Smart Bike
- Peloton Bike
- Echelon Bike
- Schwinn 270/570
A full list of compatible smart trainers can be found in this FAQ article.
We do not have access to every make and model to test, so unfortunately we cannot give a firm answer on each particular bike. We suggest downloading the 14-day free trial and giving FulGaz a go to see!🙂
