Does FulGaz work with Wattbike Atom or Atom X?

FulGaz is compatible with the Wattbike Atom and Wattbike Atom X models via Bluetooth.

You will get full power and cadence data, automatic resistance control, and a gear indicator on the FulGaz virtual bike computer display. We have worked closely with Wattbike to give you the best ride experience possible. 

For the Wattbike Pro and some earlier model Wattbikes, these may connect for power and cadence but may not be fully compatible for automatic resistance control. To connect your Wattbike Pro, please try disabling the in-built device filtering in FulGaz:
 
         1) Head to FulGaz settings -> diagnostics
         2) Tick the "disable device filtering" option
         3) Fully exit and restart FulGaz
 

GEARING AND SLOPE SCALING

Some Wattbike users report that the climbs feel a bit tougher than they expect in FulGaz. This is due to the bike's resistance levels. You can adjust this to closely match your outdoor feel by adjusting your Slope Scaling settings. This extends the "virtual gear range" of the Atom.

Using Slope Scaling gives you the correct gearing for the steep climbs, while also reducing the amount of spinning out on descents. You can find these options in FulGaz settings -> trainer settings -> advanced.

We recommend the following settings to start with:

• Uphill Slope Scaling 65%
• Downhill Slope Scaling 45%

NOTE: While Bluetooth is recommended, the Wattbike will also connect via ANT+ on Windows 10/11 machines, but the gear indicator data is not broadcast via ANT+ so will not show in FulGaz.
