As there are so many different makes and models of spin bike currently on the market, it is impossible for our team to source and test them all with FulGaz. Most spin bikes do NOT broadcast standard power and cadence values over an open Bluetooth channel.
Generally, spin bikes will not be 100% compatible with FulGaz.
Whilst we have heard from our customers that some models do work, such as certain Keiser bikes with their Bluetooth bridging device, the only way to find out for sure is to give it a try!
To find out if your bike is compatible, make sure you have quit any other apps that can connect to your bike, load up FulGaz and see if your bike shows up in the list of "power" devices on the connections screen. If it does, you should be able to "tick" the connection and continue. A ride in FulGaz should then speed up and slow down according to your effort.
Alternatively, you can go to settings and put FulGaz in Steady mode. This will allow you to ride in front of FulGaz and enjoy the high quality videos, but the ride will not speed up and slow down with your effort.
The following models will likely not connect or communicate correctly with FulGaz:
- Computrainer
- Schwinn 270/570 (and most other models)
- Renpho AI Smart Bike
- Peloton Bike
- Echelon Bike
We do not have access to every make and model of spin bike to test with, so unfortunately we cannot give a firm answer on each particular bike.
Please download the 14-day free trial and give FulGaz a go to see! :-)
