If your trainer, powermeter or other Bluetooth device is not showing on the FulGaz pairing screen, the most common reasons are:
- Another app is “clinging” to your Bluetooth connection.
- You have not allowed FulGaz to use your device's Bluetooth.
- There is too much signal interference in the area.
1) Another app is “clinging” to your Bluetooth connection.
Sometimes, a reboot of all your devices (power off from the wall for a minute) to reset them is all that is needed, or switching off any other nearby Bluetooth devices. Often though, the signal is being "clung" to by another device or app. This could be...
- Zwift, Rouvy or another training app
- - The Wahoo/Kinetic/Elite/Tacx app after calibration or testing
- A Wahoo or Garmin cycling head unit
- Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet
Please ensure that your device is disconnected from these other apps/devices and that they are not still running minimised in the background on the same or difference device as FulGaz. Then a reboot (power off from wall then back on) of all devices and trainers will usually get things rolling again.
Most of the time this will do the trick, freeing up your Bluetooth connections and allowing FulGaz to find your devices.
2) You have not allowed FulGaz to use your device's Bluetooth.
When you first load FulGaz, a pop-up will appear asking if you would like to allow FulGaz to use the Bluetooth on your device. It's easy to hit "DENY" and move on, but this will stop FulGaz from being able to use Bluetooth, resulting on no devices showing!
For iPhone/iPad you'll need to head to the device's settings, scroll down until you see FulGaz, then switch Bluetooth back on in the settings.
For Apple TV, open the Settings app and head to General -> Privacy. Go to "Set which apps get Bluetooth access" and turn this on for FulGaz.
3) There is too much signal interference in the area.
All the wireless equipment in your house is producing a signal that can interfere with the connection between FulGaz and your trainer or devices. Mobile phones, wireless doorbells, wireless keyboards, Bluetooth speakers, microwaves, etc. They all “clog” the airwaves with signals. The more devices you have in the proximity of your trainer, the more likely you are to experience dropouts or interference.

A note for Apple TV users: Placing your Apple TV unit behind your TV or in a cabinet can often block it from receiving Bluetooth signals. Moving the box into a good line-of-sight view well resolve this.

not helpful. disconnected all devices from Wahoo and Zwift apps. rebooted the iPad. rebooted the Kickr. Fulgaz can’t find the kickr or tickr. Light Blue iOS app has no problem finding them both
You're using the most common combination of trainer by far (iOS and KICKR) so this can definitely be solved.
If lightBlue can see the sensors but FulGaz can't, a strong possibility is you, or someone else in the house has connected to FulGaz on another device. EG an iPhone and this is preventing FulGaz from even seeing the trainer. Sometimes just turning bluetooth off on your phone can fix this very quickly.
I updated to new iOS on Monday and since that date FulGaz will not pair- not even see- my KICKR . Using twice a week for years, I know all the pairing tricks - this is a FulGaz problem that needs to be fixed
Hi there dshepnj1,
Many thanks for getting in contact with us. The Wahoo KICK may not be pairing (or visible to) with FulGaz because the new iOS operating system update might have removed authority/permission for the FulGaz app to connect with the trainer again.
as a solution, please go into: SETTINGS > Scroll to the bottom where your installed apps are (should be in alphabetical order) > Find FulGaz > Ensure bluetooth connectivity is still enabled/granted.
Good evening
I've done everything as described, and it still won't connect to my Tacx Neo. Turned everything off/on, disconnected etc.......and still nothing.
Hi there again,
Have you ensured that you have the latest version of the FulGaz application? We have had many bugs fixed in our most recent update. Can you also confirm that you have updated the firmware on the Tacx Neo?
We hope to have the problem fixed for you sooner than later so you can get back to riding!
Not working on android and elite direto... tried both on my tablet and my phone
